Reading Lists for All Ages
One of the questions we get asked most is "where can I find good books." A popular notion among educators today is that any book that gets a child to read is a good book as long as they're reading. That is not our belief. Books cultivate character, teach virtues and values, and inspire greatness. But they also have the power do the exact opposite. Children's, youth and history books today are riddled with themes and graphic content that are offensive to most parents and the values they want their children to learn. For this reason, we have created a collection of various reading lists that include historic fiction, biographies, classics, picture books, and novels. And don't forget the Fairy Tales! We've done the work for you and we are always eager to add new finds so feel free to contact us and share any favorites you've found that might not be on our lists. And check back often because we are always updating and adding more.

"Let me tell the stories and I care not who writes the textbooks." ~G. Stanley Hall
"When the world is in chaos, and not able to locate its identity, its the storytellers that bring it back to center. Because storytellers are the keepers of the culture." ~Michael Meade “Stories have to be told or they die, and when they die, we can't remember who we are or why we're here.” ~Sue Monk Kidd, The Secret Life of Bees “If history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten.” ~Rudyard Kipling |
